Queensland Glass has Secured a 5662sq m Fabrication Facility at Murrarie
Queensland Glass has taken an opportunity to expand its operation by securing a 5662sq m fabrication facility at 265 Queensport Rd North, Murrarie. Relocating from 3000sq m across two neighboring properties at Container St, Tingalpa. The 1.63ha site is located within the Rivergate Estate with close proximity to the Port of Brisbane and the Brisbane Airport.

Construction has now passed the 50% mark for Australia’s
first major new hospital in more than 20 years.
The Sunshine Coast Public University Hospital is a landmark project for Queensland Glass. The project carries the title of the company’s largest current single project ever undertaken.
Queensland Glass Metropolitan Regional Finalist for Queensland Employer of the Year 2014
The Minister for Education, Training and Employment, John-Paul Langbroek announced the
finalists in the Queensland regional finals for the 53rd Queensland Training Awards recently. The 2014 Metropolitan regional winners were announced at a presentation ceremony on the 1st August at Cloudland in Brisbane. Queensland Glass were finalists alongside the Flight Centre Travel Group, with the Training Award for Employer of the Year awarded to Volvo Commercial Vehicles Brisbane.

Queensland Glass was announced as the winner for the
Best Use of Glass & Glazing in the over $50,000 category for the
RACV Royal Pines Resort Conference and Events Centre refurbishment at the 3rd GAAQ Awards. The award was
accepted by Project Manager Steven North and QG Director Nigel Mills. The award was presented by Tim Mander (The Minister for Housing and Public Works).

Design and construction is well underway for Australia’s first major new, although not replacement hospital in more than 20 years.
The Sunshine Coast Public University Hospital is a landmark project for the whole country and especially exciting project for Lend Lease. The project carries the title of the company’s largest current single stage hand-over project in the world.
The state government has invested $1.8 billion in the new public hospital to address the growing health services needs of the Sunshine Coast community.
